London - increasingly cycle friendly

Boris Bikes alongside storage for 30 personal bikes at Queen Mother Sports centre
The end of the line for Cycle Superhighway CS7 near Bank. I took this really to make the first time I'd ridden along a CS rather than just crossed it. Albeit the Southwark Bridge cycle lane was still under construction yesterday.

Shard under construction and Borough Market eating

The Shard going up fast - this is the first time I've noticed it - from Boris bike woodrush.com/bb in Southwark Street. more information on the finished product is here.

St Paul's Cathedral viewed from the Floral Hall in Stoney Street, Borough Market. This is the first time I've noticed this view over the railway viaduct. The Borough Market viaduct itself (just behind me in the other direction down Stoney Street) is in the process of being upgraded for Network Rail by Skanska to increase Thameslink capacity.
I took the hint from the friendly red bull here, and remembering recent events and went for fish - which I prefer anyway!
Lunch at 'roast' was enjoyable; I had 'pan fried Cornish halibut' with artichokes, hazelnuts and garlic (£21) plus rainbow carrots (£4) - I wasn't paying for lunch, I still prefer its close neighbour just below my window seat - Wright Brothers.
